I'm in a weave right now, had it installed October 4, I'm not even gonna set a time frame for this one(even though i want to), because we all know that i end up removing it soon anyway. But if i were to set a time frame, i would say sometime in December(pushing it, I know). I say this because that coincides with the end of this semester in school and ill have time to try new things out. but for right now, my poor hair(and edges) HAVE BEEN THROUGH HELL! and need to recuperate,. so ill take it day by day, and week by week. hopefully ill even see some NOTICEABLE growth by then. So, this is yet another goal i hope to achieve, If i can even make it to December 1st thatll be job well done....STAY TUNED

LADIES, this will be a huge challenge for me, but ill try any and everything to keep this damn weave in.

Back to school

So I'm back in school. Doing my pre reqs for the LPN to RN program. Its also time for the kids to go back to school. In addition to that, I start my job as a LPN tomorrow. So, there will be zero time for my hair. My hair has been in two strand twists for a week now. This will be my go to style. Of course I want a weave but this is what I'm doing now.
My regimen now is extremely simple. I shampoo once a month. I co wash when needed deep condition maybe every two weeks moisturize before I shower and let the steam help me out. I re twist any frizzy twists and thats it. Nothing elaborate here. I still take care of my hair but all the extra stuff is gone. I'm just trying to make it through the semester.

This post is loooong overdue.
My natural hair anniversary was June 10. I haven't been doing too much to my hair. I do know that a good trim is needed though.
My hair is in cornrows under a wig. I plan on wigging it for a while. Here are a few pix of my length so far

Just got finished reading "Bad Apple" and "Koca Kola". A trilogy series ny Nisa Santiago. The third Part is called "Checkmate"
Urban hood novels full of sex, drugs, and deceit. Really good. Get your hands on it.

Giving the weave a break

Sadly the time has come that I must put away my weave. Tears. I'm gonna be rocking my natural for the summer. Its just too Damn hot for weave.
Sooooo...  I think I'll so my weaves for 9 months. So throughout the fall, spring, and summer I'll be weaved up and the summer I'll have my hair out. Quality hair of course. The premium was ok but shedded way too much for me.
My next install will be in September for my birthday.....
By the way. I'm now TWO YEARS NATURAL!!!!!
